Where at least I know I'm free
I just stood there, letting the summer breeze blow on my skin. My hair blew back and forth against my face. It felt nice, a contrast to the warm, stuffy air of the day. The big dark blue sky spread out across the sky like a big blue quilt. Stars dimly blinked in the night sky.
My little brother played behind me, chasing our dog around the field. A small radio lay at my feet and a small towel a few feet back, it's bold colors muted by the warm summer darkness.
